aprendanza 25
for two days, We invite you to think about action on the body and movement at school. Different professionals will guide workshops in which they will provide tools for a school “more danceable”. Sunday children, Girls and young people will guide workshops based on their experience in the classroom and we will end by creating a common device to get a little closer to a school that dances, celebrate and tell.
SATURDAY 8 NOVEMBER

10:00 a 11:00 – Listen to imagine
We welcome you to learn in a participatory way
11:30 a 13:30 / 15:00 a 17:00 / 17:30 a 19:30 – workshops
Four simultaneous proposals. Choose three at the following times:
The Vice
The proposal comes from a text by Dubravka Ugrešić in which a display case in the Berlin Zoo containing the objects found in the stomach of the walrus Roland is described..
This chaotic file, archaeological and accidental serves as a metaphor and poetic engine to begin a journey towards the unexpected. Just as the stomach contents of the walrus reveal an absurd but mysteriously moving story, The people participating in the workshop immerse themselves in the
construction of an archive that articulates memories, objects and fictions.
From this starting point, the real and the imaginary, the symbolic and the literal, they begin to mix generating multiple layers of reading. The workshop is built as a symbolic stomach, like a digestion space, mixing and transformation.

I am me and my shadow is my shadow
Our shadow duplicates our movements in a distorted way, amplified and sometimes diminished; accompanies, go on, altera, deforms and comforts our movement.
Let's investigate the light and our body, to make its shadow change at our will and we will also look for techniques or materials to transform it.
Changing our shadow is playing with our shape, with our identity and the meaning of our image, is trivializing it, to strengthen it, play it, to show its importance.
Hello, I'm Lupe Estevez; This is my shadow and I'm going to change it.
Lupe Estévez
Graduate in Fine Arts, Lupe Estévez has spent his entire life moving in the theater and surrounding areas; designing costumes, boldness, puppets and also narrating and creating pieces for family and adult audiences.
Your piece “Where always, always”, It is an ode to empathy for adult and adolescent audiences that is still rolling, after its premiere at Espacio Abierto Quinta de los Molinos for festivals such as Titirimundi, One thread earrings, the Autumn Festival and MEETYOU of Valladolid.
Her work is closely related to pedagogy since for more than fifteen years she has designed and taught workshops and artistic experiences for children and families., from a multidisciplinary and creative way.
The beauty of the segment
The session raises proposals for movement and composition in space, with the object and the
body. We will explore different dynamics with paper tape to open an infinite universe of game possibilities.. We will work on concepts such as the segment, the line, chaos and order, geometry, bond, limit, the simple and the complex, the silence…
We will open the perceptual field of the body, developing listening, presence and spontaneity. We will create a unique experience offering dynamic play spaces,
movement and co-creation.
Create, practice and transform through the body.

Create-Play Atmospheres
Can teaching a class be a gesture of creation?
An invitation to bring the state of playing closer to that of creating. Look at the classroom space from a horizontal perspective, democratic and libertarian, expanding the awareness that we can create and transform spaces and presences. A meeting to practice and reflect on creating atmospheres inside and outside the classroom.
Teaching becomes an act of creation, or in a situation of collective immersion from the body, sound and movement. Create atmospheres as a co-created event between the participating people, that can be moving as it is lived and shared.
Baileia
Baileia son Clara Bevilaqua and Gui Calegari. A duo of body artists, sound and movement. They are dedicated to the intersection between artistic practices and education in the encounter with childhood and its plural singularities.. They investigate and create from the desires—sometimes subtle—of people of all ages., especially those in their first years of life.
They cultivate experiences where artistic creation is also a way of knowing, live together and share the world. Create worlds within the world.

MUSEUMING, a look at coexistence from art
in the workshop, The students will immerse us in the creative process they carried out last year, in which, based on body language, the concept of violence was the axis with which they became aware of collective work. Through choreographic composition, improvisation and exploration of movement qualities we will create a framework in which we will reverse the usual course of acquiring tools for conflict resolution. The body and action together with creativity will be what give us way to words and reflection..

Nature in motion
This session is an invitation to enter the universe of nature from our own: our body and movement. The idea is to open a listening space, exploration, creation and exchange inspired by the experience of ARBORECER el cole carried out at the CRA Cabanillas de la Sierra – Madrid, thanks to the support of the PLANEA Network.
ARBORECER el cole is a creative laboratory whose central idea is to bring us closer to nature through the body in movement. The proposal invites girls and boys to perceive and experience nature (the outside and the inside) hand in hand with dance, of creative activities related to the arts of the body and movement. It is about opening a space within the environment and dynamics of the educational center dedicated to research, play, dance and create.
