Toy Store and Texture Factory

A fun and simple factory with which to turn our desires into a dancing manifesto. The factory contains a collection of templates with shapes, letters, words and phrases inspired by the Manifesto “I want to dance”.
Combining templates in a playful way we will compose our messages and learn the stenciling technique while we print our favorite clothes to dance.

Changed Swing

Once again we start learning with a festival. This year, our town square is inspired by the urban dance scene of the years 30, that MENIL SWING brings us in a concert-workshop in which to learn and share.

MENIL SWING is one of the most original and exciting projects in Spanish popular music in recent years.. The project, which was born with the purpose of spreading gypsy-jazz or jazz-manouche, presents a NEW WAY OF SWING, capable of exciting and making the general public vibrate.

Open space. collective creation

Nor is called

Marta Arévalo and Luciana Spadafora

The traditional open space takes a twist this year. Let's transform it into something new, something with which we will continue enjoying the shared knowledge but from a collective creation proposal.

We invite learners to continue building and dreaming together accompanied by Marta Arévalo and Luciana Spadafora.

Collective creation of an artistic piece, which is still “not called” in any way, and that has the game as its common thread, the sport, humor and dance, that will allow us to look out and rethink the ways of creating, facilitate and expose. Where to rethink the way of approaching creation and staging in formal and non-formal educational contexts.

A fabulous warm-up

A fabulous warm-up

Checho Tamayo

This workshop proposes us to place the action of warming up as the center. Without final goal group connection, heightened attention and presence will lead us to a perpetual warm-up in which we will prepare for a fictitious event to be discovered.

This event will never come because as in every fable, our warm-up is accompanied by a final moral. Only instead of revealing it at the end we will do it before we start:

“Warming does not exist. There is only premiere, There is only history class and there is only party final. Warming is perpetual, there is nothing to prepare for, there is no place to arrive"

Body and creativity with ImproK

Justine Marouzé

In this workshop we will rediscover our own body, his movement and his creative capacity.

With an entrance that will allow us to inhabit the body, We will live dynamics that take care of us and connect us with the organic movement, easy and fluid. We will experiment with proposals that invite us to explore movement textures from the body., play with space and savor subtle communication.

The Improk cards will activate our imagination to guide our movement and experiences in small creative processes.

We will also have space to exchange ideas on how to apply what we experienced in the classroom..

dancing with the dragon

National Dance Company/Cross Border Project

The CND and Crossborder Project will give us the opportunity to experience a workshop that has been touring the institutes since last year. The book “Carmen, the story” around the choreography of Carmen by Johan Inger, will allow us to reflect on the concept of possession in relationships in adolescence.

Join us to discover through movement and words, the dragon that we all carry inside.

Sunday 22 October

Of 10:30 a 13:30. collective action

The Stain. Maria Jerez

Indíralo

Maria Jerez

María Jerez invites us to work with the imperative of an invented verb: “Indíralo”. The definition of this verb would be “not doing something individually” and designates a practice in which actions are deliberately performed together, emphasizing that processes are always collective, interdependent and ecosystemic. We will work on the choreography of a multiple and divergent brain that does not move in a single direction but in multiple and non-consensual lines towards a commitment to what is yet to be determined..
