Biografía
Piotr Beczała is internationally regarded as one of the leading tenors of his generation, celebrated for both the beauty of his voice and the dramatic intensity of his performances. A regular guest at the world’s foremost opera houses, he has appeared in major roles at the Metropolitan Opera, Vienna State Opera, Bavarian State Opera, Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Teatro Real Madrid, Zurich Opera House and the Salzburg Festival. Particularly acclaimed for roles such as Lohengrin, Radamès, Don José, Faust and Andrea Chénier, Beczała has established himself as a leading interpreter of both the Italian and German repertory.

Equally sought-after on the concert stage, Beczała performs recitals and gala concerts throughout Europe and North America, while his extensive discography and numerous honours — including ECHO Klassik Singer of the Year, Opus Klassik Singer of the Year and the Austrian title of Kammersänger — reflect his standing as one of today’s foremost opera artists.
