Season 26-27

The 26–27 season reinforces Teatro Real’s commitment to excellence and artistic quality. This new artistic programme features six new co-productions by Teatro Real with some of the world’s leading theatres. The programme comprises 16 productions, including three oratorios and major works from the operatic repertoire such as Giacomo Puccini’s Manon Lescaut, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro, Richard Wagner’s Tannhäuser and Gioachino Rossini’s The Barber of Seville. Dance will also feature at the very highest level, with Alvin Ailey Dance Theatre, the Compañía Nacional de Danza and Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch.
