The Teatro Real rents some of its own opera productions or coproductions to other theatres. The list includes operas by Mozart, Monteverdi, Britten or Wagner, in stage productions by Peter Sellars, Bob Wilson, Michael Haneke, Emilio Sagi, Giancarlo del Monaco, Pier Luigi Pizzi o Willy Decker, among others.
