One of the most important objectives for the Teatro Real during its Bicentenary celebrations is for opera to become part of the life of the city.

The Teatro Real will broadcast its house productions live in high definition to institutions and cultural and artistic centres across Spain as well as on large screens in public spaces.

To achieve this and reach as wide an audience as possible, the Teatro Real will facilitate the transmision signal, without cost, to any centre which requests it. The theatre will be responsible for setting up the space and equipping it so that as many spectators as possible may view the performance.

The broadcast will be simultaneous via either satellite or internet :
- Hispasat for the satellite signal.
- Palco Digital for an internet connection

For those interested contact retransmisiones.bicentenario@teatro-real.com  as of June 3 for further technical  AV information and location requirements.
