The 2021-2022 season celebrates a double anniversary: 100 seasons since the inauguration of the Teatro Real in 1850 and the 25th since its reopening in 1997. Composers of all time such as Rossini, Händel, Puccini, Wagner, Luis de Pablo, Prokofiev, Mozart, Honegger, Verdi, Pucell and Debussy, among others, come together in this special season with great classics, titles never seen at the Teatro Real and the best artists. A journey through five centuries of opera, which adds ten new titles to the Real's repertoire, with an absolute premiere.
