Learning as a family is lots of fun with the Have you ever heard of...? series (also known as Let’s all go to the Gayarre and Let’s all go to the Real Teatro de Retirol!): a workshop introducing music to people of all ages.

After several seasons at the Sala Gayarre, we continue with this unmissable event at the Real Teatro de Retiro. On one Sunday every month, we will explore one of the main operas in the Teatro Real’s programme, together with Fernando Palacios and one or more guest artists.

It’s a fun, participative get-together where we will learn to listen to opera with stories, songs, mini-concerts and unexpected tools to discover all its music and leading characters.

This session is called "Have you ever heard of The Bartered Bride?" and explores the world of the opera Carmen, by Bedřich Smetana, scheduled at the Teatro Real.
