Learning as a family is lots of fun with the Have you ever heard of...? series (also known as Let’s all go to the Gayarre and Let’s all go to the Real Teatro de Retiro!): a workshop introducing music to people of all ages.

After several seasons at the Sala Gayarre, we continue with this unmissable event at the Real Teatro de Retiro. On one Sunday every month, we will explore one of the main operas in the Teatro Real’s programme, together with Fernando Palacios and one or more guest artists.

It’s a fun, participative get-together where we will learn to listen to opera with stories, songs, mini-concerts and unexpected tools to discover all its music and leading characters.

This session is called "Have you ever heard of The Miraculous Mandarin?" and explores the world of the operas The Miraculous Mandarin and Bluebeard’s Castle, by Giuseppe Verdi, scheduled at the Teatro Real.
