AT REAL TEATRO DE RETIRO
A repertoire of waltzes, mazurkas and polkas performed by soloists from the Teatro Real’s resident orchestra
A string quartet from the Teatro Real’s resident orchestra, together with a ballroom dancing professional, will introduce an audience of all ages to the rhythms and melodies heard in Vienna every New Year’s Day. Waltzes, mazurkas and polkas will be at the centre of this activity with the participation of people of all ages, from children to grandparents, showing that dancing is always something that brings generations together. At Christmas, let’s dance like we were in Vienna.
