Season 25-26

The 25/26 season of the Teatro Real takes a new and exciting path through two interesting inspirations: the work of William Shakespeare and the fairy tale Bluebeard by Charles Perrault. The new programme includes 18 unique productions, with titles such as Otello and Il trovatore by Giuseppe Verdi, Carmen by Georges Bizet and Romeo and Juliet by Charles Gounod. The Ballet Nacional de España, the Royal Swedish Ballet and Swan Lake: The New Generation, created by Matthew Bourne augur an exciting season of dance.
