Our Real Teatro de Retiro once again becomes a Viennese salon for the day.

A repertoire of waltzes, mazurkas and polkas is performed by Soloists from the Teatro Real´s Resident Orchestra.

The most eagerly awaited event of the Christmas season is back at the Real Teatro de Retiro as we journey to Vienna through the music of the best-known composers from the Viennese salons and enjoy the waltzes and polkas that form part of our collective Christmas imagination. A string quartet from the Teatro Real´s resident orchestra -the Madrid Symphony Orchestra- together with the ballerina Elisa Bermejo and the voices of the Soloists of the Teatro Real´s Resident Orchestra, will introduce an audience of all ages to the rhythms and melodies heard in Vienna every New Year´s Day.

Waltzes, mazurkas and polkas will be at the centre of this activity, with the participation of people of all ages, from children to grandparents, showing that dancing always brings generations together. At Christmas, let´s dance like we were in Vienna.
