Miniclassics is the Real Teatro de Retiro´s cycle inviting young children to discover music in a wonderful, specially designed setting. We are talking about the spectacular atrium of our theatre, where they can move, dance and crawl in natural light while enjoying their first concert. This is the perfect time for them to explore the rich world of sound, delighting their ears, expanding their listening skills and learning about sensitivity. An ideal first experience with live music.

At this first date of the season, the audience will discover vocals and guitar through the music that accompanied Victoria de los Ángeles throughout her life. The concert is structured around the story of two characters looking for Figaro, the singer´s cat. The voice of a mezzo-soprano, and a guitarist will perform pieces from zarzuela and opera and songs that were among the singer´s favourites.
