Figaro the cat is lost! He must be found
Miniclassics is the Real Teatro de Retiro´s cycle inviting young children to discover music in a wonderful, specially designed setting. We are talking about the spectacular hall of our theatre, where they can move, dance and crawl in natural light while enjoying their first concert. This is the perfect time for them to explore the rich world of sound, delighting their ears, expanding their listening skills and learning about sensitivity. An ideal first experience with live music.
At this first date of the season, the audience will discover vocals and guitar through the music that accompanied Victoria de los Ángeles throughout her life. Few people may have heard of this soprano, but she was one of the most important singers of the entire 20th century, not only in Spain but throughout the world. The show `Victoria, Fígaro and his guitar´ is a tribute brimming with little gems, dedicated to an artist with an exceptional voice, who adored children, cats and, above all, loved music.
Mezzo-soprano: Cristina Segura
Guitar: Bernardo Rambeaud
