Der jasager (The Yes Sayer)

New Production of the Real Teatro de Retiro, with the collaboration of the Espacio Turina (Sevilla) and Goethe Institute

This is an opera by the famous German composer Kurt Weill with the libretto of Bertolt Brecht. It is inspired by an ancient Japanese Noh play
called Taniko. It was premiered in Berlin in 1930 by high school students and was broadcast simultaneously on the radio to great success. The work
is a reflection of the norms which govern our lives and the importance of learning to change these, if a new situation requires it.
