Salomé Ramírez, dancing
Salomé Ramírez (Jerez de la Frontera, 1990) is a dancer with deep roots and an international profile. She began her training at the age of four with Rafael Muñoz and continued with figures like Manuela Carpio, Farruquito and Antonio Canales. She began to stand out first on the stages of Jerez at a young age, and later at tablaos in Madrid and Barcelona. She has taken part in tours of Japan, Europe, India, Brazil and the US and has worked with artists like Farruquito (Sonerías) and Eduardo Guerrero (Gaditana). In 2019 she performed in Tacones Manolí, directed by Manuel Liñán, and won third prize in La Perla de Cádiz (2023). In August 2025 she received the prestigious Desplante award – one of the biggest prizes for flamenco dancing – at Las Minas International Singing Festival. Her precise dancing and strong stage presence blend traditional rhythms with contemporary language. She currently lives in Madrid, performing at tablaos and on guitarist Yerai Cortés’s tour.
Miguel Ángel Heredia, singing
Miguel Ángel Heredia (Jerez de la Frontera, 1985) is an outstanding flamenco singer and dancer. He began his professional career at Tío Parrilla’s El Lagar and then went on his first international tour with him in 1999. Since then, he has carved out a solid and versatile career, performing in leading tablaos such as Los Gallos, El Arenal and Las Carboneras and taking part in Spanish and international festivals. He is a cast member of Manuel Liñán’s shows ¡Viva! and Muerta de amor, where he has consolidated his presence as an accomplished artist. He was recognised as best new artist at the Jerez Festival in 2017. His singing, deeply rooted in the Jerez tradition, is characterised by authenticity, rhythm and commitment.
The Jerez association Los Caminos del Cante, is devoted to publicising, researching and promoting flamenco, paying particular attention to singing. Emerging in 1992 as a radio programme on Onda Jerez directed by the journalist and flamencologist José María Castaño, it has become established as a leading institution on the Spanish and international scene. Every day it broadcasts a radio programme and podcast covering singing, guitar playing and history with interviews, as well as recovering historic sound archives. It also organises cycles, intensive courses, tributes and activities in cooperation with universities and flamenco clubs.
