Fuensanta, ‘La Moneta’, (Granada, 1984) is one of the most renowned and unique bailaoras in contemporary flamenco. Having trained under masters such as Mario Maya and Juana Amaya, she has developed her own singular style, combining traditional flamenco with creative freedom and intense expressiveness. Rooted in traditional Granada-style flamenco, her dancing is noted for its power, intuition and authenticity. Throughout her career she has directed and starred in productions such as Bailar, vivir; Lo que trae el aire and Granada. Solo tiene salida por las estrellas, which were performed on stages across Europe, the Americas and Asia. She combines her artistic work with her role as director of La Moneta Flamenco School, where she promotes flamenco and training for the new generation of artists

Lucía Álvarez Howard, ‘La Piñona’, (Jimena de la Frontera, 1985) is a bailaora and artist known for her artistic flair and contem - porary vision of flamenco. She undertook her training in Seville, principally at the Cristina Heeren Foundation, and has worked with masters such as Milagros Mengíbar, Rafael Campallo and Carmen Ledesma. In 2011, she won the Desplante Award at the International Festival of Cante de las Minas, cementing a career characterised by research and authenticity. She has performed in national and international theatres and festivals, as well as co - llaborating with artists such as Arcángel, Esperanza Fernández and Manuel Liñán. She was also a member of Ballet Flamenco de Andalucía. In works such as Emovere, Abril and Lucía en vivo she demonstrates a personal, sensitive and deeply expressive style of dance.

Peña La Platería

Founded in 1949 by the silversmith Manuel Salamanca Jiménez, La Platería flamenco club is considered the oldest in Spain and one of the most historical flamenco institutions. Intended as a meeting place for enthusiasts and artists alike, it has played a key role in safeguarding and promoting flamenco. Major names have graced its stage, whilst its programme features recitals, talks, exhibitions and cultural activities. The organisation also runs educational projects such as Flamenco in the Classroom and holds an extensive documentary and museum archive. Among the many accolades it has received is the Trofeo a la Faena más Jonda Award. Thanks to its work, it has become an indispensable pillar of flamenco culture.
